Camp Potomac
Camp Potomac Boy Scout Resident Camp

"We are not a brigade - nor a Sunday School - but a school of the woods" (Powell, B. January, 1919).
Camp Potomac is a 114 acre Nationally Accredited Boy Scout Summer Camp located in Oldtown, Maryland.
At Camp Potomac we strive to provide each Scout the opportunity to open their minds, to bring out each Scout's character, to make them into good citizens and people for God and their country, to encourage them to be energetic workers, and to be honorable. We offer strong unit support from our camp staff, which you will interact with daily during your visit, and at our Council Service Center, that will help you register for a summer session.
We enjoy our summer camp life and wish to share that excitement and enthusiasm with the units who decide to come to our camp. Strengthen your unit’s year round program by attending one of Camp Potomac’s summer programs. You will be pleasantly surprised, as so many others have been before you, by our friendly service, excellent food, and outstanding program.
